These terms apply to your use of Bar Prep Pro, a Civil Procedure practice tool operated by {{COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME}} (“we”, “us”). By using Bar Prep Pro you agree to them.
An invite-only pilot
Bar Prep Pro is currently offered as an invite-only pilot. There is no public sign-up: an administrator creates each account and sends a one-time link to set its password. Because this is a pilot, features, content and availability may change, be limited or end.
Your account
- Your account is for you alone. Do not share your sign-in details.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
- We may disable an account that breaks these terms or that is no longer part of the pilot.
AI-generated content that is not attorney-reviewed
The practice questions, answer keys and written explanations are generated by AI from supplied Civil Procedure doctrine materials and checked by automated processes. They have not been reviewed by an attorney. The optional AI tutor also generates its explanations with AI when you ask for them. Any of this content may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check important points against authoritative sources. The content notice explains how questions are produced and checked.
Not legal advice
Bar Prep Pro is a study aid. Nothing in it is legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship with anyone.
No guarantee of results
We do not promise that using Bar Prep Pro will help you pass any exam or reach any score. Scores and analytics in the app reflect only your answers to its practice questions.
Not affiliated with the NCBE
Bar Prep Pro is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE). Its questions are not NCBE questions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, publish, sell or otherwise redistribute the questions, explanations or AI tutor output;
- let anyone else use your account;
- try to break, overload or get around the service's security, usage limits or access rules;
- send abusive or unlawful messages, or other people's personal information, in problem reports.
AI processing
When you ask the AI tutor to explain a question, the question content and the answer you selected are sent to Google Cloud Vertex AI to generate the explanation. Your name and email address are not sent. The AI tutor may have daily usage limits and may be unavailable at times. The Privacy Policy describes what we store and which service providers we use.
Reporting problems
If a question, explanation or AI tutor response looks wrong or unclear, use the report button in the app. Reports are reviewed, and questions found to be faulty are retired from new sessions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the pilot develops. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Continuing to use Bar Prep Pro after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
